CBox Is the 'Sibuk" place

'Sibuk' is a Malay word for busy. I think this word relates to CBox because I found that a lot of blogger are using this section to just getting busy on someone else's blog without ever relate to their contents. Sometimes I like people saying hi on my cbox on my blog. Yes, if they really come to my blog and write the comment by hand. But sometimes I found that these people are just bot, sending command to spam my cbox. They didn't actually come to my blog and their interest is just to put their link there and increase traffic to their blog.

Therefore, I'm hiding my cbox on that site and we will see if this cbox still got spammed or not. If I still got this 'fake messages' after I put it down, I can confirm that the cbox have been used for spammer using scripts or some applications, and I 'm gonna put down forever. Worry not to my fellow readers... Please use my comment area to leave your comment. And you'll still be loved... Heheheh

Skrip:
Beberapa penjenayah internet telah merancang untuk mencuri wang dari akaun beberapa pengguna yang telah dipilih. Mereka telah membina satu laman web palsu dan menghantar email kepada mangsa agar masuk ke laman web palsu tersebut... mereka menanti dengan gadget yang handy di kedai mamak yang mempunyai wifi percuma sambil berborak dan bermain facebook.

Disuatu sudut lain, mangsa telah menerima email yang disangkanya datang dari bank. Beliau kelihatan sudah berhati-hati dengan melihat alamat email penghantar, namun terlupa melihat URL bank tersebut.... Apabila sampai di laman palsu tersebut, beliau disuruh menukar password dan tunggu sehingga mesej sampai untuk memasukkan kod TAC sebagai pengesahan. Selang beberapa minit, beliau menerima mesej TAC dan terus memasukkannya ke dalam borang di laman web palsu tersebut.

Di lokasi lain, ada pengguna yang berhati2 berjaya mengenalpasti ianya email phishing dan melakukan tindakan sewajarnya.

Berbalik ke kedai mamak, mesej diterima menandakan ada mangsa telah terperangkap... ikan telah tersangkut pada mata kail... mereka yang telah sedia, cuba log masuk ke akaun mangsa dan sukses... seterusnya dengan pantas membuat pindahan wang ke akaun lain dan meminta TAC. tidak lama selepas itu, TAC yang dimasukkan oleh mangsa diterima dan proses pindahan wang berjaya dilakukan.

Beberapa hari kemudian, mangsa terfikir untuk pergi ke bank dan mengeluarkan sedikit wang. Namun terkejut apabila baki wangnya tidak mencukupi. Barulah beliau menggelabah dan mengimbas balik segala yang telah dilakukan (imbas balik gambar email, URL, web palsu, tukar password, TAC) dan beliau terduduk dan menepuk dahi...

Dengan mesej... JANGAN JADI MANGSA PHISHING!!

I only got one reason for not updating this blog for quite sometime. I'm getting lazy!! Hehehe...

However, I'm trying to be more hardworking or 'rajin' in malay. Before this, I have so much to think before updating my blogs. Just because I wanted all my posts to be original and without duplicate contents.... blingbling... shiny... marvelous... and all the beautiful words that I can describe about it... I'm hoping all of you who come accross this blog can read and hopefully appreciate them. I hope those posts are useful for all my blog readers. But that make me think longer before posting anything. I have to do some research before I am able to post any damn thing in this 'scrap' blog!!.. WTF!!!

And the laziness did make me unable to do any single post... Every time I'm trying to do a post, I'm thinking and thinking and thinking... then fell asleep or have another thing to do then... And up until now, there is no post. And still, I can't make any 'great posts' yet...

Lesson Learned

Today, I learn something. I have to change my way of updating this blog. So, instead of thinking long before posting anything, I start my posting by typing something and then work on it. There maybe no useful story at all, or maybe useful only for 'some' readers. I know that I can't fulfill everybody needs. I'm just nobody.

Hmm... let's see if this way will work on me and I'm starting to update this blog more frequently. So, get ready my friend... and look for more scrappy stuff from me... hehehehe...

Minesweeper Cheat Code

Have you ever played Minesweeper? It is one of those free games pre-installed by default in every Microsoft Windows. Actually, it's not really fun for me but at least it's a game that can help me while I get bored, have nothing to do with no internet connection, and by that time I only have someone's PC with nothing installed. Then I'll pickup Minesweeper to fill my nothing-to-do time. Honestly, I'll prefer sketching if I have a pencil and a paper.

Anyway, the rules of Minesweeper is you have to find the Mines which you can guess their locations by the numbers. A number represent mines count around it. The simplest rule to understand it is take the number in the middle of 9 boxes like this:

However, there is also a cheat code for this game. You can simply type 'xyzzy' then press and release [Shift] key. Now, you can continue to play as usual. Everytime you hover your mouse on a mines, the white pixel will disappear and when there is no mines under your mouse pointer, the white pixel will appear. You can even show off this to someone who starring at you playing this game and they'll amazed. Have fun!!

Howto get paid through AdSense program

If you are new to Google AdSense program, you are surely be looking forward to earn some revenue from your AdSense Ads after you have setup your account and updated your website with AdSense code. You should noticed that the revenue will start accruing to your AdSense account almost immediately. However, the actual payments to you are based on certain rules by Google for all website owners who have an AdSense account. So, if you didn't read it, let me remind you:

The first and most important rule is that Google will make a payment to you only when your account balance is $100 or more. Also, these payments are made by Google within 30 days of the last day of calendar month during which you attain an account balance of $100 or more. If your account balance is less than $100 on the last day of the month, the balance just rolls over to the next month and this continues till you actually have at least $100 in your account. You can easily check your account balance by logging-in into your AdSense account.

You have to provide them with information that is required for Google to make payments to you. This includes the Payee information and contact details that you specified at the time of signing-up for an AdSense account. Though you can edit most of this information, country and Payee name cannot be changed at this stage (i.e. after the account has been approved by Google). If you need to get these changed, you will have to close your AdSense account and open a new one.

You will also need to submit your tax information using the Tax information link on the My Account tab. One of the tricks to get higher Adsense click rate is by properly blend your adsense ads with your blog post.

While surfing around, I bumped on this nice article about how you can place the Adsense ads in your blogger post body. Actually, I have already know this but since then, I still don't have time to write a tutorial about it. However, this guy have done a great job to post a detail step by step to do it. The step is so simple where what you have to do is just get your Adsense code, change the some character to comply with XML and place them on your template. I've been so busy lately with my work and other things. What is still going and growing here in this Rojak Blog is the Technorati Favorite Exchange Project. Believe it or not, it makes this blog being listed in Technorati Top 100 Favorite Blog. Wow! isn't that great?... Anyway, sorry for those who have tagged me while I still don't have enough time to do so.

Sorry for all my blogger friend who tagged me where I didn't reply yet. Especially to Vegemaster who may have waiting long enough (since April Ekekeke!)... I've got too busy lar. But I'm going to do it now.

I've been tagged by Vegemaster for my Crush story meh?... Can I say I've never had a crush? Hahahahampeh lol!... Honestly, I don't know exactly what is the Crush really means and I don't have that word in my dictionary. I've heard a lot of story about my friends having a crush and I'm sorry to say that they look childish. Not because I'm so oldish larr, but I don't like the way they goes with their imagination. Why don't they be more brave and just make friend with their 'so called' crush?. Maybe they can learn more about their crush then. Am I freak? Heheheh... Welcome to the Freakazoid world.

Believe it Or Not: 13 years old kid making a lot of Money Online!

I like to jump from one blog to another. Reading what other people is blogging and getting to know who is the blogger. Guess what, I met this brilliant 13-years old kid named Carl on a blog called carlocab.com... Let me call him 'New Kid On The Blog' a new band after 'New Kids On The Block' hehehe... just joking dude!

OK, I'm serious now. This 13 years old blogger is blogging about Make Money Online! Can you believe it? When I was at that age, I'm still on my way of finding my real attitude. And still with a lot of dreams, joy and play with friends without any idea of making money or even think about my future. I'm really impressed by this kid. He have a nice professional look blog with his own domain (shame on me! lol.. I didn't buy mine yet!). OK Carl, I'll change my template later. Haven't got my time yet.

Another great thing I found in his blog is his idea on review exchange. I believe some blogger have already know this but I didn't find who really implemented it and make it a big blast program like we've done with the TFX. I got load of traffic and my Technorati rank increase in a few days! So, I would like to invite all my fellow readers to join another traffic booster project called review exchange.

You can offer anything to your reviewer, but the most important thing is you must be able to give them a return review for their blog as the exchange. Take a look at the example on Carl's blog where he is giving his reviewer the chance to win his upcoming e-book. Traffic, Traffic, more Traffic

In the last couple of days, I was playing around with techniques to increase traffic and rank of my blog. It goes pretty good since I got a lot of unique visitors and even my blog worth values increases rapidly from zero to something like $19k plus. Owh! that's awesome! You know somethin, I just started this blog really on the beginning of this month. This means the DoshDosh's Technorati Favorite eXchanges (TFX) experiment really works that out.

So, I hope to this success should not be the end of my traffic pulling experiment. There is more thing I can do to raise traffic to this blog without spending a penny. Really? I'm gonna prove that my friend... Actually, I would love to play with no dirty Black Hat that will make people hate me, no spamming on some forums to pull readers to my blog, no email hunting, no nothing... I'm sure, there is a way out there with just simple play around with techniques that can manipulate the big system who monopolize the internet traffic.

For those who are interested in my journey, you can simply Subscribe my feeds and wait for more things to do to get more traffic. Hmm... where am I going next? Currently, I'm thinking about aunt Alexa. Maybe she can help me to do something about it... I've heard Alexa is one of the huge system that I can play with in order to gain traffic and ranks. Then what the heck am I waiting for now? Have to grab on my Firefox and ride it to aunt Alexa's home. I'll share my journey there soon... See ya!

Increase PR and traffic with Technorati Favorites Exchange a.k.a TFX

PageRank and blog traffic is the most essential need for bloggers today. Since there is a lot of tricks have been developed to gain traffic. I've seen some netpreneurs selling reports and ebook about getting more traffic which in return will increase blogger's income.

After jumping from one blog to another, I found great exercise I can do in order to increase my blog PageRank and traffic. It is in another great post from Daryl's blog after I discover his My List project. But this time, the idea is originated by Maki on his DoshDosh blog. You can read their explanation on how to achieve this. Trust me, I really think this is achievable at no cost.

As I want to simplify it, the main idea is to swap Technorati Favorites among each other blogs. By doing this, our blog's Favorited By list will increase in Technorati. And this ranking will give a great impact in the potential of gaining more traffic via this ranking list within Technorati and among fellow bloggers. Do visit Maki's Ultimate Technorati Favorites Exchange: An Interactive Experiment post for more information on how you can participate as well.

Favorite my blog on Technorati by clicking add Fav on my sidebar or clicking this Favorite The Rojak Blog link. And then inform me about it by leaving your comment on this post. Please ensure you do put your username and link for your blog. I suggest to make something like this

My Video Day...

Ngehehe... yesterday and today would be my video day. I've been watching Video Clips and DVD all day long. And it also takes until my morning time after I sent my wife to work. Lol... Actually, I'm developing my Reggae And SKA blog. Just for fun and love to see it grow bigger and bigger... hehehe... I'm posting all the related videos I found there and add some lyrics. Maybe I can add some pictures soon.

I like reggae and SKA music since I was in secondary school where I always tuning to Bob Marley's No Woman No Cry and The Madness - Rat Race and many more... all reggae and SKA. I like to go to gigs where I can meet more friends with the same interest. Owh, I don't have the pictures anymore... I'll try to find it and maybe I can post it later. Hanging around with those kind skinhead is so fun. But nowadays, I heard the younger skinhead is rude. I don't know the real story since I've never hang around with them anymore. My time have past already maa... I think they will laugh at me and say 'tua kutuk tak sadar diri!'... So, I'd better let them go larr. They also want to feel what I feel when I was young what...

So, I think its better for me to 'layan sorang²' with my online friends here on my blogs... ;D

provide a way for you to determine whether any difficulty you may have in viewing a Web site is due to the site itself or your browser.
A lot of useful features that IE don't have.
Auto detect RSS feed. (I use RSS feed a lot to save my time going to my favorite site/blog because they will come straight to my feed reader)
Totally customizable.
I am addicted to Firefox.

Is template really matters for better blog?

I'm crawling on my way in building a better blog. Better for me means I have a great blog which have a great contents and the most important of all, have a lot of readers. Do you really care about who read your blog? I do. I always think like I am one of the reader of my blog. Then at that time I would comment on my blog. What is wrong here and there.

Anyway, currently I'm thinking about template that will suit my blog. Hmm.. is template really matters? Don't be afraid, because the answer is yes. I have read about this, posted by Darren Rowse on ProBlogger. Where he said, that his traffic from search engine doubled... just after changing the template? Seriously, is this really true? Owh.. I'm not going to be another Myth Buster to find out about this yet... heheh... What I'm going to do right now is, to experiment it myself (just like the Myth Buster guys do!)...

Waiting for another template to be created

I'm still finding my time to create my own template for the new blogger. Currently, I got busy with a lot of stuff to do... I'm still doing my friend's Flash based kiosk, assignment for my Linear Algebra class and waiting on my list is my Software Engineering project. Huh! real busy. That didn't include my office work... programming for the Intelligent Sensor. I hope I can have my time after all this stuff... I'm interested to make my own template since I'm involved in this blogging arena.

Owh... I got addicted to it. I hope I can create a nice blog that have full of information about my stuff. What are my stuff? Hmmm... this is not a secret anymore. I like many things about music, art, computers, programming, gadget, photography, extreme sports... and many more. I wish I will have it all blogged in my blogs but I didn't have time to fulfill it yet. Maybe soon when I have some relief in my schedule.

Haha.. good news to affiliate marketer. For those who are always playing with their affiliate links. You may noticed that sometimes, your link to some site with additional id at the end like this http://abc.com/buy-now.php?id=youraffid will make your target clicker obviously know that this is an affiliate link!!

Sometime they are afraid or will simply shy away when they see such link. One of the best way to avoid this is by using some redirection link. The best way on making the redirection link is by having your own domain and create a simple php script on a page with good url. These people won't be afraid to click some link like this http://www.abc.com/my-secret-to-share/.

The only problem to have such kind of link is the cost of having domain and web hosting to host the redirection page. One of the cheap solution is using tinyurl at http://tinyurl.com where your link will be spoofed into something like http://tinyurl.com/QwERTy123. Since this method have been used widely, some people start to know that this should be an affiliate link and they still run away from it. And the link look bad too. who want to click on GDGSDAsywuDFHG?

Worry not!! I have one new great way for you. It is SimURL at http://simurl.com/. The best thing is you can specify your url instead of using some random 'WERgfadsrwqWTET' letters by registering for SimURL+. You can choose your own link like http://simurl.com/my-special-offer. unless the url have been grabbed by somebody else. And guess what? It's free!! and I have created one for me. One more added advantage of using this, you can also monitor how many click you have got thru this link. Even thou you are promoting via email. Isn't that great?
