Increase PR and traffic with Technorati Favorites Exchange a.k.a TFX

PageRank and blog traffic is the most essential need for bloggers today. Since there is a lot of tricks have been developed to gain traffic. I've seen some netpreneurs selling reports and ebook about getting more traffic which in return will increase blogger's income.

After jumping from one blog to another, I found great exercise I can do in order to increase my blog PageRank and traffic. It is in another great post from Daryl's blog after I discover his My List project. But this time, the idea is originated by Maki on his DoshDosh blog. You can read their explanation on how to achieve this. Trust me, I really think this is achievable at no cost.

As I want to simplify it, the main idea is to swap Technorati Favorites among each other blogs. By doing this, our blog's Favorited By list will increase in Technorati. And this ranking will give a great impact in the potential of gaining more traffic via this ranking list within Technorati and among fellow bloggers. Here is the steps to participate (edited from Daryl's blog) which were:

1. Participate by Exchanging Favorites
   Favorite my blog on Technorati by clicking add Fav on my sidebar or clicking this Favorite The Rojak Blog link. And then inform me about it by leaving your comment on this post. Please ensure you do put your username and link for your blog. I suggest to make something like this

   http://technorati.com/faves?sub=
     addfavbtn&add=http://jerungkun.blogspot.com

   And remember the rules says the exchange is one on one which means one username can only exchange one blog.


2. Get link back if you link to this blog post with your Post on Technorati Favorites eXchange
   Create your own post in your blog that you participate on TFX (Technorati Favourites eXchange) and include the link of this post. After I noticed your post from trackback or Technorati I will include your blog post in this topic, so anyone can participate with you as well. You don't have to worry if this post will be lost on archive as I will continually do deep linking or maybe put small button on my sidebar, to keep this up.

Do remember to do the same at DoshDosh, Daryl's blog and the other participating blogs as well which list can be found on Maki's post. Important thing to remember is to post a comment on those blogs you have favorited as well so they may return the favor to yours.
